The meaning of life
Thank you for your wishes for the new year. I'm sorry that I currently do not answer all comments from you. I'll take care of it very soon!
Did you celebrated a lot, did you have a happy new year and did you fired at midnight a beautiful fireworks?
I had a delicious fondue and at night a small fireworks. So I had a really happy new year :)
At the beginning of each new year, I think about the following months. A new year begins, spring is coming soon and it can be re-started by in all respects – personally and professionally.
These thoughts crossed with a text about the meaning of life of another weblog let me sink again into a intellectual game.
I have often read and heard that some people do not really understand the meaning of their own lives. You live from day to day, going to school or to work and in the evening you eat together with your partner a hot meal. Or maybe even alone. And that is every day. At the weekend, perhaps a visit at friends or at family. And on monday the routine starts again from the beginning. There is not much time left for hobbies because the job claimes the whole day from the morning at 8 AM to late afternoon 5 PM. Sometimes it is, I think, very easy to get into the daily grind, and somehow to be demotivated. One wonders: why?
Why do I get up every morning to go to work, to get back in the evening to fall asleep and in the end to drag oneself out of house in the morning again? In order to make money and then to live? Why do I live? Why is there anything at all? If there was absolutely nothing, not even the universe, what would there be?
Certainly everyone asked themselves similar questions. But one should not become obsessed with something. In my opinion every person has a purpose in life. Which one it is that everyone needs to find out for yourself. And I think if someone says that he feels purely nothing good or useful to his existence, then he should give serious thoughts to it.
Although a good example crosses my mind. I once get to know someone, who claimed to feel his own life completely pointless and can enjoy nothing. But still this person has regularly written a blog post and publish feeling frigidity texts. Then I seriously asked myself, as hard as it sounds: If this person thinks everything is shit, and there is no good and no sense – why this person does not commit suicide? I know this sounds a bit hard and macabre, but it is like that. Life is too precious, to spend it with lousy and sad thoughts, and even pull down his fellow human beings.
Of course, everyone hits at least one or more times the rock-bottom in his life, but that is no reason to badmouth the life. Look at the people who have really experienced many bad things, but still get up again and again because they want to enjoy life as long as they can. And in my opinion that should everybody do. Enjoy.
Everyone is different and everyone has different aims in life. An aim of many is probably to sit with 70 or 80 years together with his wife or her man in a rocking chair and playing with his own grandchildren. To raise own children, to see how they grow and establish an own family, this is a great life-task.
The career people among you will see the course somewhat different. There certainly the career advancement ranks first. To see that you have achieved something and that many people look up to you and see a great role model in you.
There are many more aims in life of a single human being, which everyone has to discover for yourself. Look into yourself and see what is important to you in life, how do you see yourself in 10 or 20 years, when you can leave the world happy, satisfied and proud, when the time has come someday.
If you have discovered them, then the daily grind and possible setbacks are also sometimes easier to bear, because you know what you're working towards. Knowing why you get up again and again and not give up, that is what counts.
Life can be so beautiful, make the best of a bad job!

Vielen Dank!
Ja, manchmal sind die Leute selbst Schuld, wenn sie keinen Sinn in ihrem Leben sehen. Auch, wenn sie es nicht sind, können sie ihr Leben immer noch selbst in die Hand nehmen und entscheiden.
