Momentariness
Here you can also read through the task, and if you scroll further down, you see even the works submitted by my theoretical competitors: Photo Contest 62 - „transience“ (you need not be registered to see the images)
Now there some photos "waste", which I would like to show you now. Too bad to let them gather dust in the last corners of a folder, but not good enough to be submitted to this contest. Some of the photographic statement is not entirely appropriate, because the atmosphere is too "friendly" and alive, as that it could be passed. Therefore, the following photos more snapshots again (unprocessed) that are created by the way. But I hope you like them a little nevertheless.
What are you thinking on the subject „momentariness“, and how would you implement this photographically?
I really think it's not easy... a theme with past plants is the classic picture, which everyone has in your mind first I think. Or maybe an old building, dilapidated walls or a train station, which is out of service. But I miss this „wow“ effect somehow, this particular thing which stands out from other photos. And this I have not found on the fly.
Finally, I present to you my original idea... a dried rose. One can interpret a lot, for example, that the rose represents a past love. Only the technical implementation is unfortunately not as successful as I wanted, because there were no decent light. I had to create this photo with the flash, so all seems a bit "hard". But I hope I find some time, the time to create a more beautiful shot of a red rose.
