Happy New Year!

Do you have the famous New Year's pledges? Indeed I could not observe those from last year, but I try it anyway again, it is the willingness that counts, yes ;D
Actually, I have not many, just some which certainly know many people, like to lose weight, exercise more and something like that, so nothing spectacular.

The situation is different with aims, of which I have many that I want to achieve in 2012. Among other things I want to finish my education successfully. In my opinion aims should have everyone, otherwise somehow you have the feeling never reached a stage in life, is not it?

Well. Then the end of the year can begin on saturday. How celebrates the New Year's Eve? Rather with friends or family? I suspect most of you rather celebrated with family when you were little children and later only with friends? Differently like Christmas I think New Year's Eve is more a large stag party of the year as a family event. The last day can be celebrated and after the last few hours the old year can be adopted and the new year can greeted with beautiful fireworks. Do you ignite fireworks at midnight at all? I think that is part of every New Year's Eve, I can not even remember a New Year's Eve from my childhood that I have not seen the fireworks. As a child, of course, only from a safe distance.

As I mentioned in my post "What do you believe?", I believe in the "original idea" of the loud and splendid fireworks of the year. Due to the loud sounds of rockets, bangers and other fireworks the evil spirits sould be cast out of the new year. The evil spirits that bring bad luck and bad for other single people, will driven out by the popping sounds. At least I believe it. I have a really bad feeling when I do not shot at least one rocket in the sky at New Year's Eve.
A nice side effect is of course that most fireworks are visually very fascinating. I think I will try to take some great photos this year.

But of course you should also pay attention. Too early exploding bangers have some people cost a lot. Please make sure that you do not use the cheaply produced bangers (higher explosive force, shorter fuse, etc.) and that you start rockets from a bottle which have a solid base! And please do not start from your hands. I get a strange feeling when a drunk person starts a rocket out of his hand. Who knows what he is aiming the last moment... or if he did not tremble and drop the rocket... that is really very dangerous. This rocket could fly in the proximity of other people and explode there. Please be careful! Even with the popular "China firecrackers". Be careful of your steps!

But well. If you deal with it mindfully and also pay attention to other human beings, then there should not really happen something bad. Then the New Years Eve fireworks can be a beautiful spectacle!

Yes, it is kind of a weird feeling, to use real goat hair on the face. But if you touch the brush, then this is a minor matter, because the quality is really very good and not at all to be compared with cheap brushes, for example from a drugstore. I have not used them yet, but I will tell you.

What are your got gifts, on which you have enjoyed the most? Was there one that was absolutely inappropriate? I fortunately got nothing inappropriate and had great christmas holidays with two families :)
